Peer-Review Process
The Journal of Landscape Architecture and Garden Design follows a double-blind anonymous peer-review process, ensuring that both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the evaluation process. Each submitted manuscript is initially screened by the editorial office for scope, format, and basic scientific quality. If deemed suitable, it is sent to two or three expert reviewers in the relevant field.
Reviewers assess the manuscript’s originality, methodological rigor, theoretical contribution, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal’s scope. Based on reviewer feedback, the editor makes one of the following decisions:
Accept without revision
Minor revision
Major revision
Reject
Authors are expected to respond to reviewer comments point-by-point and revise their manuscripts accordingly. The editorial team ensures that all decisions are fair, transparent, and based on academic merit.
