Review Process
Peer Review
Each manuscript is evaluated by at least two expert reviewers.
In the event of a disagreement between the reviewers, the manuscript will be sent to a third reviewer.
Based on the reviewers' comments, one of the following decisions will be made:
- Acceptance without revision
- Acceptance after minor revisions
- Reconsideration after major revisions
- Rejection of the manuscript
The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.
Manuscript Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on the following criteria:
- Novelty and originality of the research
- Scientific significance of the topic
- Relevance to the fields of landscape architecture and garden design
- Strength of the theoretical framework
- Quality of the literature review
- Clarity of the research objectives
- Appropriateness of the research methodology
- Validity of the data and analyses
- Quality of the discussion and conclusions
- Applicability of the findings
- Currency of the references
- Quality of the scientific writing
- Quality of tables, maps, figures, and charts
- Compliance with research ethics principles
Reviewer Responsibilities
Reviewers are committed to:
- Maintaining the complete confidentiality of all manuscript information.
- Not using any information contained in the manuscript for personal purposes prior to publication.
- Informing the Editor-in-Chief of any potential conflict of interest.
- Conducting the review fairly, objectively, scientifically, and without bias.
- Providing comments supported by scientific reasoning.
- Notifying the Editor-in-Chief if they identify plagiarism, duplicate publication, fabrication, or data manipulation.
