The existence of decorations and their motifs has long been evident in our architecture, and master architects have always given a special place to decorations from the beginning. Our prominent buildings, both in the Islamic and pre-Islamic eras, have had special decorations, including tiling, exquisite stucco, calligraphy, inscriptions, etc. In this article, we attempt to specifically address the decorations of schools during the Safavid period in the city of Isfahan. The research method of this article is case study and descriptive-analytical, and is based on library and field studies and photography of sample schools. The authors of this article aim to comprehensively examine the decorations in Isfahan schools during the Safavid period and then select those schools that have sufficient information and documents on the decorations used in them, which are: (Jeddah Bozorg, Sulaymaniyah, Kaseh Garan, and Nim Avard) as sample schools and then conduct a comparative study of their decorations in more detail. Therefore, these four schools were first examined in terms of the technique of decorations and then in terms of the content of the decorations. In the following, the inscriptions on the entrances of the schools were also examined.A noteworthy point that the authors of this study found during the process of examining school decorations is the existence of a relationship between the decorative technique used in the tiles and their content, so that the authors found that wherever the tiling technique is in the form of mosaic tiles, the content of the decorations consists of plant motifs and oriental flowers. And where the tiling technique is in the form of mosaic tiles, the content of the decorations is only geometric motifs
